Hi there!

My name is Kevin Powley, and I am the creative mind behind Imaginarium Studios here in Beautiful Downtown Chilliwack.

Photography has been my language for over three decades. It’s never been something I “do”, it’s how I see. I’m driven by an instinct to look beyond what’s immediately in front of me and find something deeper: emotion, tension, stillness, story. That pursuit of the “perfect image” is what keeps me evolving, frame after frame.

My work is cinematic at its core—shaped by light, mood, and intentional composition. I create boudoir portraiture, couple sessions, and family photography with a focus on atmosphere and authenticity, turning real moments into something that feels elevated, intimate, and timeless. Boudoir, in particular, is approached with care and artistry—focused on confidence, presence, and refined storytelling rather than anything superficial.

Alongside commissioned work, I produce fine art photography and selected pieces are exhibited in gallery spaces, including a rotating showcase at Myth Valley Studio. These works reflect a more conceptual side of my practice, where imagination and environment blend into visual narratives.

At the heart of everything I create is a simple but relentless drive: to keep pushing closer to that image I can feel before I fully see it. Whether it’s a quiet portrait or a constructed artistic scene, I’m always chasing that moment where everything aligns.
